Sikaflex PRO is a 1-component, moisture-curing, elastic joint sealant with a movement capability of ± 25 (ASTM C 719). It offers good workability and excellent adhesion to a variety of substrates. Sika 600ml Sikaflex Pro Polyurethane Joint Sealant is a one-component, thixotropic, polyurethane-based joint sealant that cures under the influence of atmospheric moisture to form an elastomeric material with adhesive properties, often without the need for priming the substrate. This product is globally supplied by Sika and meets stringent sealant standards such as US Federal Specification TT-S-00230C, Type II, Class A, BS4254, and JIS A 5758.
Sikaflex-PRO bonds well to well-cleaned Sikaflex-PRO and exhibits excellent adhesion on cement-based materials, brick ceramics, polyurethane, epoxy, most polyester, metals, and timbers. It is highly durable, offers good weathering resistance, and is non-sag on vertical and soffit joints up to 30 mm in width. The sealant has a short skinning time, short cut-off string even after storage, and is ready for immediate use, eliminating potential mixing errors or wastage. It is non-corrosive, can be painted over with many water, solvent, and rubber-based paints (preliminary tests recommended), and is approved for use in potable water (AS4020:2005). Additionally, it is resistant to bacterial attack.
