HardieWrap™ weather barrier is meticulously crafted for wall and gable applications, providing robust protection behind James Hardie, Scyon™, and other* external cladding products. This advanced barrier offers a triple-shield of defense against external weather penetration, internal condensation build-up, and external heat penetration. It boasts up to 50% faster installation in certain applications compared to 1.35m wide products, and its highly breathable pores significantly reduce condensation build-up by allowing interior water vapor to escape to the outside.
With 10% less wastage in certain applications compared to 1.35m wide products, HardieWrap™ is lighter and easier to cut than many other foil wall barriers. Its safe-glare reflective^ surface can enhance wall thermal performance by up to R0.7 m2 K/W, potentially saving on insulation costs without the need to upgrade bulk insulation. Additionally, its low flammability makes it compliant with fire and bushfire regulations, suitable for all bushfire areas in accordance with AS 3959 – 2009. Engineered for the Australian climate, HardieWrap™ can be used in wall and gable applications across all Australian climate zones from 2 through to 8, excluding the hot and humid tropics of Far North Queensland, the Northern Territory, and parts of Northern Western Australia^.
