The Genius Gun Gap Filling Expanding Foam - Champagne is a high-quality polyurethane expanding foam featuring a specially designed patented trigger mechanism. This innovative design ensures precise dosage and eliminates the need for an additional gun, making it incredibly user-friendly. The foam can be operated with one hand and remains re-usable for up to 6 weeks. Its expansive properties make it an ideal solution for filling gaps. Additionally, the foam serves as an excellent thermal and acoustic insulator, adhering to a wide range of building materials including brick, concrete, insulation materials, pipes, cables, ducts, wood, metals, most plastics, and polystyrene.
The foam expands to approximately 30 times the size of the can and is moisture-curing and water-resistant. It offers superior thermal insulation compared to many other materials and significantly reduces sound. The foam is extremely lightweight, champagne-colored, and chemically inert once cured. It is resistant to temperatures ranging from -40°C to +90°C and cures quickly, with a skin forming in about 5 to 10 minutes depending on conditions. A 3 cm bead cures in approximately 1 ½ hours. The foam does not shrink or expand once cured and is not UV resistant.
