The Genius Gun Gap Filling Expanding Foam - Champagne is a high-quality polyurethane expanding foam featuring a specially designed patented trigger mechanism. This innovative design ensures precise dosage and eliminates the need for an additional gun, making it incredibly user-friendly and operable with just one hand. Remarkably, it remains re-usable for up to 6 weeks. The foam's expansion properties make it an ideal solution for filling gaps, while its excellent thermal and acoustic insulation capabilities allow it to adhere to a wide range of building materials, including brick, concrete, insulation materials, pipes, cables, ducts, wood, metals, most plastics, and polystyrene.
Expanding to approximately 30 times the size of the can, this moisture-curing foam is water-resistant and offers superior thermal insulation compared to many other materials. It is also sound-reducing, extremely lightweight, and champagne-colored. Once cured, the foam is chemically inert and can withstand temperatures ranging from -40°C to +90°C. It cures quickly, forming a skin in about 5 to 10 minutes depending on conditions, and a 3 cm bead cures in approximately 1½ hours. The foam does not shrink or expand once cured but is not UV resistant. It is perfect for quick and easy filling of gaps, joints, holes, and pipe penetrations, and it significantly improves thermal and acoustic insulation while eliminating drafts or thermal bridges. The foam can be cut, sanded, painted, plastered, or covered with sealant once cured, and should be protected from UV light for longer life. Suitable for both internal and external use.
