This 16mm thick horizontal weatherboard features deep shadow lines, making it the thickest weatherboard available. Suitable for a variety of residential applications, it can be used for external walls in composite construction, upper-storey and ground-level extensions, and internal feature walls, offering a classic, contemporary, or composite design aesthetic.

The 16mm thick profile of Scyon‚Ñ¢ Linea‚Ñ¢ weatherboard creates consistent deep shadows, providing a premium weatherboard look. A range of corner finishing details, including aluminium or Scyon‚Ñ¢ Axent‚Ñ¢ trim, allows for diverse design options. The Linea‚Ñ¢ window adaptor can be used for subtle window treatments, or the Axent‚Ñ¢ trim can provide a contrasting effect. Installation is straightforward with face or concealed fixing options, and the back-bevelled boards sit flush with the stud, making the process efficient. Pre-primed sheets facilitate fast paint application, ensuring a high-quality finish with less effort. Unlike timber, Linea‚Ñ¢ weatherboard resists shrinking, swelling, and cracking, maintaining its integrity and appearance over time.

When used with HardieSmart™ wall systems, Linea™ weatherboard offers up to 60 minutes of fire rating. Proper insulation and adherence to standard installation instructions can achieve an R-Value of up to 2.8 for the wall. Enhanced Total R-Values can be obtained through cavity wall construction and reflective vapour permeable membranes. Made from Scyon™, an advanced lightweight cement composite, this weatherboard is resistant to termites, rot, and fire. It can be gun nailed and is easy to cut, similar to timber.
