They are non-combustible as per AS 1530.1 and feature tongue-and-groove edges for easy installation. These boards can be fixed with screws or a nail-gun, and are produced through green and eco-friendly methods. OxyMag floor boards outperform typical Fibre Cement floor boards in several key areas. The 16mm OxyMag floor boards outperform typical 19mm FC floor boards, and the 19mm OxyMag floor boards outperform typical 22mm FC floor boards. For instance, typical 19mm FC floor boards have an average wet MOR (modules of rupture) of >7 MPa (megapascal), whereas 16mm OxyMag floor boards have a wet MOR >19 MPa, which is 2.7 times greater. This allows OxyMag floor boards to substitute thicker FC boards while still achieving a stronger floor solution. Additionally, OxyMag floor boards are up to 7Kg lighter than equivalent, thicker FC floor boards, making them easier to handle and faster to install. By substituting thicker FC floor boards with thinner OxyMag floor boards, builders can benefit from significant cost savings, reduced labor costs, and a more versatile product that can be used in multiple applications.
