The 40V Max Brushless 216mm (8-1/2") Slide Compound Saw delivers high performance in a compact design. With a 4,800rpm cutting speed and constant speed control, it ensures the blade speed doesn’t drop even in high-load applications. The LS002G is packed full of features including a rail forward design, AWS, electric brake, and ridged extendable sub-tables. The ultra-smooth rail design allows for minimal resistance when cutting and ensures the saw can be placed against a wall, maximizing workspace. Also compatible with AWS technology, the saw features superior dust extraction. With dual extraction ports and a specifically designed blade case, the LS002G extraction rate is extremely efficient. The electric brake provides additional safety while the LED light casts a shadow line onto the material, displaying the exact cutting line and allowing the user to work more efficiently.

The built-in sub-tables on this model have been redesigned to assist in stabilizing longer pieces of material with a 750mm base when the tables are extended. The high-power 40Vmax XGT Li-Ion battery allows for continuous operation in heavy-duty applications, delivering 4,800rpm and maximum cutting capacities of 312 x 70mm. The auto-start wireless system automatically activates a compatible AWS vacuum or receiver once the trigger switch is engaged. The paired extraction unit will operate when the saw is in operation and shut down once the trigger is released. The rail forward design enables the saw to be placed up against a wall to maximize working space and also produces an ultra-smooth cutting motion, ensuring the user achieves superior cuts. The extendable sub-table stabilizes material when working with longer pieces, extending from 550mm to 750mm when fully extended. The LED light casts a shadow of the saw blade onto the work material, displaying the exact thickness of the saw blade and allowing the user to make an exact cut. The high-powered 40V Max motor ensures the blade speed remains constant, even under heavy load. Dust is collected from two locations, behind the fence and behind the blade, making dust collection more efficient through the entire cut regardless of the size of the material. The mitre and bevel lock adjustment is located on the front of the saw, allowing the mitre and bevel angle to be quickly and easily adjusted left and right without having to reach around the back of the saw.
