The Makita Slide Compound Saw is designed with a motor head that slides on two fixed rails, allowing it to be placed against a wall to minimize its overall footprint. This forward rail design also ensures an ultra-smooth cutting action. The saw's dust collection system is highly efficient, capturing dust from behind the fence and the blade throughout the entire cut. Other notable features include a removable sub fence for excellent stock stability, DXT (Deep and eXact cutting Technology) for larger cutting capacity, and a bevel angle adjustment located at the front of the saw for easy access.
