Preparation is key to achieving the best results. For new timber, treat with Intergrain UltraPrep Tannin & Oil Remover and then clean with Intergrain UltraPrep Timber Cleaner. For new feature timber like doors and windows, sand to a uniform, smooth surface, ensuring it is free from dirt, dust, wax, and oils. For grey and weathered timber with no previous coating, clean with Intergrain UltraPrep Timber Cleaner and sand back to a fresh surface if necessary. Existing coatings in poor condition should be removed using a combination of Intergrain UltraPrep Tannin & Oil Remover and power washing, followed by cleaning with Intergrain UltraPrep Timber Cleaner. If mould is present, use Intergrain UltraPrep Mould Killer as the first step.
