The Dulux Concrete & Paving Sealed Surface Cleaner is the essential first step in preparing your surface for coating. Specially formulated to tackle stubborn oil and grease stains, this cleaner ensures optimal adhesion for subsequent coats of paint. It is also effective on coated surfaces, helping to maintain their clean appearance. This product prepares sealed surfaces to create a sound base, ready for the application of Dulux Concrete & Paving Stage 2: Sealed Surface Primer. With a spread rate of up to 20m¬?/L, it is ideal for pebble, stone, brick, and previously sealed surfaces.

For application, use a stiff bristle broom and clean with water. Safety is paramount; wear suitable protective clothing and eyewear when mixing and applying the product. Begin by sweeping the surface clean, followed by pressure washing to remove any loose materials and peeling or flaking coatings. Mix the cleaner in a bucket at a ratio of 1 part cleaner to 20 parts water, or 1 part cleaner to 5 parts water for heavily stained areas. Apply the cleaner using a stiff bristled broom, scrub into the surface, and allow it to sit for 15 minutes without drying. Scrub again, focusing on stubborn stains, and rinse off with a high-pressure washer. Repeat steps 4 to 7 for heavily stained surfaces if necessary. You are now ready for Stage 2 – Priming.
