This innovative seal is designed to meet the British Standards, requiring a minimum gap of 25mm to effectively seal gaps between floors and walls, thereby creating more room to manoeuvre in your home. The top part of the seal screw fixes to the underside of the door, while the tread plate attaches to the bottom sill or floor, ensuring a secure and tight fit.
The 2-piece seal is perfect for doors exposed to heavier conditions, making it ideal for entry doors and carpeted areas. It effectively seals against draughts, dust, insects, rodents, cold, heat, noise, and rain. Constructed with an aluminium carrier and tread plate, it features silicone rubber inserts and is clear anodised for durability and longevity. Suitable for single and double-hinged doors that open inward or outward, it can accommodate doors up to 915mm wide and seals gaps of 25mm.
