This anchor is perfect for use with specialty timbers such as Cypress, Merbau, Jarrah, and Spotted Gum, providing a neat and concealed finish for large decorative posts. The 10mm thick bladed post support ensures a strong and solid connection to the concrete base, while the concealed weld between the vertical and horizontal plates enhances the overall strength of the connection.
To install, a slot is cut in the base of the timber post to fit over the post support, resulting in a clean finish with only the bolts visible. The T Blade Post Anchor is made from galvanized steel for durability and is also available in stainless steel upon special order. Concealing caps are available separately to further enhance the aesthetic appeal. The bolt sizes listed are the maximum that will fit the post support holes and are recommended to achieve maximum ratings.
