The T Blade Post Anchor is a type of T-bladed post support designed for bolting onto concrete surfaces. It is particularly suited for specialty timbers where a concealed post support is required. This anchor is ideal for achieving a concealed finish on large decorative posts made from timbers such as Cypress, Merbau, Jarrah, and Spotted Gum. With a 10mm thick bladed post support, it provides a robust and solid connection for bolting down to a concrete base. The T Blade Post Support features a concealed weld, ensuring a stronger connection between the vertical and horizontal plates.
To install, a slot is cut in the base of the timber post to fit over the post support, resulting in a neat finish with only the bolts visible. The blade and base are made from 10mm thick galvanized steel, and stainless steel options are available by special order. Concealing caps are also available to suit and are sold separately. The bolt sizes listed are the maximum that will fit the post support holes and are the sizes used for testing to achieve maximum ratings.
