The Mushroom Cowls are a versatile and popular choice for roof ventilation. They are particularly effective for venting out exhaust fans and range-hoods. These cowls are designed to be used in conjunction with a length of galvanized pipe and an appropriate roof flashing for either metal or tiled roofs. Typically, the cowl is riveted or attached to the galvanized pipe using an adhesive.
These cowls fit 125mm diameter pipe and ducting and feature a contemporary design in full aluminum construction. They are compliant with the fire rating requirements of AS3959-2009 up to BAL-40. Additionally, they include an aluminum mesh for protection against insects or rodents, providing maximum protection against weather, wildlife, and rust. The cowls connect to steel pipe (code CP600125) and can be affixed with silicone, glue, or rivets.
