Alpine Ventilation Aluminium Semi Rigid Ducting is an excellent choice for non-insulated ducting. It offers a lower cost and greater versatility compared to solid ducting, while maintaining its shape better than flexible ducting for improved efficiency. The semi-rigid structure can be easily attached using duct tape or steel worm clamps, or both for a more secure fit. Take great caution when opening the ducting to avoid tearing; it is best done with two people, starting from the middle and working towards the ends. This ensures the maximum length can be achieved from the compressed form.
This product is constructed entirely from aluminium, making it safe and non-flammable. The ducting features a 100mm internal diameter and can expand up to 3 meters. It is temperature rated from -20°C to +150°C, making it ideal for both straight and curved venting applications. The semi-rigid structure holds its shape to increase ventilation efficiency, and the ducting is made from 0.15mm aluminium sheeting. It is 4-zero fire rated to AS1530.1 and compliant with AS1668.1 and AS4254.1 standards.
