Specially formulated to coat over existing mineral oil coatings, \u003cstrong\u003eUniversal‚Ñ¢ Timber Oil\u003c\/strong\u003e also creates an unlocked system, enabling water-based or oil-based coatings to be applied over the top in the future.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eFor best results, new bare timber, new pre-oiled timber (including mineral oil), and rejuvenated bare grey\/weathered timber should be cleaned with \u003cstrong\u003eIntergrain UltraPrep Timber Cleaner\u003c\/strong\u003e to ensure the surface is free from debris, droppings, and stains. If maintaining bare grey\/weathered timber, simply wash the surface with water. For existing coatings in poor condition, remove the coating using a combination of \u003cstrong\u003eIntergrain UltraPrep Tannin and Oil Remover\u003c\/strong\u003e and power washing, followed by cleaning with \u003cstrong\u003eIntergrain UltraPrep Timber Cleaner\u003c\/strong\u003e. For paints, varnishes, or coatings in varied conditions, remove all existing coatings using a coatings stripper or by sanding back to bare timber, then clean with \u003cstrong\u003eIntergrain UltraPrep Timber Cleaner\u003c\/strong\u003e.
