This product quickly draws out tannins and oils from the surface, allowing you to bypass the usual 4-6 weeks weathering process. Follow up with \u003cstrong\u003eCabot's Deck Clean\u003c\/strong\u003e according to the label instructions. Remove excess water using a squeegee on Cabot's Deck Prep brush and let the timber dry for at least one hour. Note that cooler conditions may extend the drying time.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eFor previously painted or varnished timber, strip back to bare timber using a paint stripper or by sanding. Clean exterior surfaces with \u003cstrong\u003eCabot's Deck Clean\u003c\/strong\u003e following the label instructions. For previously stained and oiled timber, clean with Cabot's Deck Clean and test the surface by sprinkling water on it. If water beads, repeat the Deck Clean application.
